SERVICES PROVIDED

The Community Dispute Resolution Center (CDRC) of Missoula County provides services through several programs. As the organization grows, we will be increasing our services and programs in additional areas of conflict resolution.

Here are some of our current offerings:

TRAINING

The CDRC of Missoula County offers training in mediation, facilitation, negotiation, and other alternative dispute resolution practices, for individuals, businesses, organizations,  governments, and community groups. For details about upcoming trainings click here, and for information about our ongoing continuing education series click here.

JUSTICE COURT MEDIATION

CDRC volunteers mediate Justice Court cases at the Missoula Courthouse. Over 70% of these cases settle in mediation, before going to trial, saving the courts time, money, and other resources.

DIVORCING PARENT ORIENTATION

The CDRC organizes the Missoula County Parenting Orientation that is held the third Thursday of every month at the Missoula County Courthouse. All divorcing parents in the county must attend this orientation, and it also satisfies requirements for other jurisdictions.

PARENTING PLAN MEDIATION

CDRC volunteers assist divorcing couples with their parenting plans. As a nonprofit, we are able to offer these services at a reduced rate with a sliding fee scale.

COMMUNITY & NEIGHBORHOOD FACILITATION & DISPUTE MEDIATION

The CDRC can provide meeting facilitation for neighborhood and civic organizations and offers alternative dispute resolution services to individuals and groups in the community.
